    Description

Nepheline Syenite rock "Yooperlite" with Yellow/orange fluorescing Zircons and some minor orange fluorescing Sodalite as well as minor fluorescent blue Fluorite.
Quite rare, only the second I have found in three years. There is far more Zircon that Sodalite  in this specimen. If using a loupe or microscope there is very lustrous micro purple fluorite crystals adjacent to one of the zircons as well as clear fluorite in other areas of the rock.
The Sodalite is small fine grains that are orange under long wave UV as opposed the the larger yellow color Zircons.
This sample is half of the rock which I cracked to see a fresh interior.
From Ozaukee Co. Wisconsin. Lake Michigan shoreline.
    33 grams.
    1-1/2" length
I can combine shipping with other purchases.
    NOTE!
Photos taken with a 365nm Convoy2 filtered Long Wave UV light. You will need one similar as well to see the fluorescence. Cheap unfiltered long wave uv lights work ok but a filtered quality light gives preferable visual results. Thx.
