    Description

Yooperlites are the given name to a Syenite specimen of rocks found on Lake Superior.  Syenite is a coarse-grained intrusive igneous rock with a general composition similar to that of granite, but deficient in quartz.  These are a type of fluorescent mineral and when a UV light is shined on them they appear to glow, like fire.
These are really beautiful mineral specimens and would make a great addition to any mineral collection.

Insurance is always recommended, as no two meteorites are the same and not replaceable. Cost of U.S. delivery insurance is 2% of thetotal or .00, which ever is more. USPS International insurance policy requires an upgrade to Express Mail.
