    Description

    Yellow willemite fluorescent mineral, Sterling Hill Mine near Franklin NJ.  Really large specimen of yellow willemite, with gemmy grains, plus calcite, and franklinite, including some interesting blocky cleavage planes. Fluoresces green and some red in shortwave UV; green in longwave UV light.


    Big cabinet specimen, measures 5 3/4 inches x 3 3/4 x 3 1/2 inches, and weighs 7 pounds 4 ounces.
