    Bendetto Vettrano
Vettrano was born in London, England around 1890 to Father Dominico Vettrano and Mother Domenica Vettrano. His father was an Ice Cream Vendor and Handy Man in Finsbury, London, England. Vettrano was one of 5 siblings (3 boys and 2 girls).
Vettrano served with the Royal Army Medical Corps in the 5th General Hospital at Rouen, France. Exact dates of his service are unknown, but he does not appear to have qualified for the reward of a 1914 or 1915 Star. He was issued a Silver War Badge and has pension paperwork marked as being received on April 15, 1918. He also listed his occupation as being a soldier when he married on December 24, 1916.
Vettrano was married to Esther Clements on December 24, 1916, St. James, St. Pancras, London. It does not appear that Vettrano had any children. As of 1939, Vettrano listed his occupation as a News Reel Camera Operator. He passed away in the 2ndquarter of 1967. Also entitled to the British War Medal. No further research undertaken.
