    Good Very  Fine Condition.
    Benjamin Franklin York was born on 23rd July 1890 in
    Cedar County, Missouri, USA. He attested at Calgary, Alberta on 11th Sept. 1915,
    giving his occupation as "Engineer" and N.O.K. resident in Spokane, Washington, USA. Having seen no previous service. he was awarded the Military Medal on 18th November 1918, having recently been wounded by Gun-shot to the Head and Leg on 13th August 1918. He was wounded previously on the Somme on 10th Oct. 1916.
    M.M.- L.G. 3rd July 1919.
    His service file is on-line. He was promoted up to Sergeant. He died
    18 March 1966 at Stockton, San Joaquin County, California, USA, he was married to Maud Cagle and fathered (3) boys.
