WW1 Casualty 1914 Star Trio with original Aug-Nov clasp to Inglis, Black Watch / Gordon HighlandersThree:
2515 Pte W Inglis R. Highrs.
William Inglis was from Canongate, Edinburgh. His parents were William Inglis and Jane Kennoway Pick. He was Killed In Action on 4th Oct 1917 serving as 12617 with 2nd Bn Gordon Highlanders.
Commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial. With some research, copy of MIC showing entered Theatre 13th August 1914 and was transferred to the 2nd Battalion Gordon Highlanders on 28th August 1916. With copy BWM roll. A photo of him may exist at the IWM.
EF Condition, may of been some adjustment to suspender on BWM. Medals with new ribbons.
