    John Green was born 31 July 1888 at Mansfield, Nottinghamshire and was a Coal Miner by occupation when he joined the Royal Marines on 9 Sept 1914. He received a GSW to his left forearm at the Dardanelles on 18.9.1915. With copy of service record.
