    (William Brown from Ayr, Scotland, shows on various Navy Lists, served on HMS Avenger, Sunhill, Vindex Tunhill,) William was KIA as Chief Engineer Officer on 26 Jan 44 when SS Fort Bellingham on an Arctic convoy to Murmansk was torpedoed, with some research.
