    Impressed naming to : Pte. D.A. SITTRIE 6th S.A.I.
    VF or better condition, with ribbons.
    Demetric Andrew Sittrie, from Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape Province. He served as a Regimental Cook, hd several visits to the hospital in 1916 and was discharged medically unfit in April 1917 due to Malaria and evacuated back to the Union.
    The 6th SAI served in German East Africa, the survivors were drafted into a composite regiment in Nov. 1916.
