Here is your chance to own an authentic piece of the Polynesian Resort’s history in Walt Disney World Florida. This iconic sign was used to direct guests around the resort and contains awesome, iconic locations mentioned. I was lucky enough to add this to my collection years ago and am now considering offering it to the next collector. It’s one of the vintage signs and is large (see all pictures which include the measurements and an exact representation of condition - I also included a picture of a similar sign that I found to show how these were used on property back in the day). It is in great, original condition for its age. You can see that they had to “build” this in sections with dowels and glue. For this reason, I suggest local pickup near Pittsburgh or for you to arrange your own shipping via Uship or any other safe carrier as an alternative to a box which could subject the joints to too much pressure and result in an unpleasant experience. If necessary, I will consider UPS if buyer pays for the professional packaging that they offer along with responsibility in the case of incurred damage due to shipping.
