Today we are delighted to offer for sale a sterling silver footed sugar and creamer set by Poole!
This set, crafted of sterling silver by the Poole Silver Co. of Taunton, Mass., is pattern #100, also known as the Jack Shepard Repro-Plain pattern. It includes a creamer and open sugar bowl, both footed in a shell-and-hoof pattern. The creamer has three legs, the sugar bowl, four. The handles are done in an elegant rococo c-scroll pattern. The bottom of each piece is marked "Sterling by Poole" and "100".
Set presents in good-to-very good antique condition, with minor tarnish, light scratches and patina commensurate with age and storage. One of the feet on the sugar bowl has been pushed up, creating a small mound in side the sugar bowl. This does not affect its ability to sit on a tabletop with stability. We gave these pieces a light polishing; you may wish to do more. No monograms. Please review all photos and ask any questions prior to purchase.
This classic and elegant set will add an impressive touch to any tablescape. Fresh to the market!
