    Description

    This is an absolutely beautiful neck tie that my 92-year-old mother owns. It was a gift to my father from his aunt many, many years ago. I could see it worn as a ladies or man's neck tie. It is in wonderful condition for its age.
    I found another listing on ebay for the Men's Fleisher's knit-a-tie kit. The kit shows this exact neck tie as an option. The yarn in that kit is Angel crepe and is 71% wool and 29% rayon. The original kit came with this exact neck tie box. This tie has a tag inside "Hand Knitted of Bear Brand Yarn". The stitching is absolutely beautiful and in perfect condition. It does not appear to ever have been worn. It is assumed to be from the 1960s.
    The tie measures approximately 42" long and is 3-1/2" wide at its base in front.
