Vintage Gorham EP YC781 Silver Bowl 1940's Fire-King Glass Baker & Stirling Lid

Description

This one-of-a-kind "set" was found at local estate sale and was, I assume, quite cleverly put together by the previous owner.
What you see here is:
One Gorham EP #YC781 Sterling Serving Bowl 9" x 4.5"
One 1942 - 1945 Fire-King 2 Quart Oven Ware Dish 9" x 3"
One Unknown Maker Sterling Lid 81/2" x 3"  (which fits the Fire-King Dish)
The lid may be Gorham but as lids are rarely marked, I cannot say with certainty.
It was definitely not made to pair with the bowl.
Put them all together and you have a pretty and functional serving system for sit down or buffet dinners.

ear marks, rubs and light scratches.
