Toshiba Electromagnetic Flowmeter LF404/LF434
For sale- a Toshiba Electromagnetic Flowmeter.
There are two model numbers separated by a slash, I am pretty sure that the second one-
LF434GACFCCAAB - refers to the explosion-proof enclosure that houses the LF404FAB211AAB flow meter, but other than the lengthy alphanumeric designation I really can’t be certain of that.
I have several other Toshiba flowmeters, and on one of those the first number matched an enclosure being sold on ebay, just the enclosure, for 9!
Which sounded outrageous until I found the same enclosure elsewhere online for almost K.
So again, I think those numbers tell you both the enclosure employed as well as the flowmeter unit.
But I would ask that you examine the pictures carefully to see what you are buying, as I have limited experience with this sort of thing and basically I don’t have a clue.
What you see is what you get.
For some reason I didn’t get a picture of the LCD panel on the thing, so I had to take a later picture with my phone which is rarely successful.
And as it turns out the thing is pretty easy to power up with 110VAC, but I didn’t know that when I was taking the pictures.
So before it ships (if not sooner) I can at least fire the thing up and see if it is alive.
Completely untested, sold as is, and NO warranty is offered.
However, IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it.
Returns are ONLY allowed on Buy It Now Purchases.
Accepted Best Offers are strictly an as is sale, no returns allowed.
Return would be for a refund of the purchase price, not including shipping costs.
Just so that we are clear on that, this is an item that has not been thoroughly tested.
As such it may work fine or it may have problems, so any purchase entails a certain degree of risk.

In either case it is up to you to decide whether the risk level is acceptable to you, and if not you need to pass on this particular item.
“CAL.SPAN” is shown as what looks like 300 gal/min, and max pressure is shown as ANSI150.
The flange looks like it’s about 6” OD and the opening itself about 2” ID.
