Description
Restored repaired 1880s Navajo rocker engraved coin silver bracelet. This bracelet was bought in the condition of the last photo. The early bracelets of this kind were forged soldered with home made solder (saliva/ silver/ borax handmade flux). Which sometimes like a cold soldered joint came undone in the past. Owned by Agnes at some time in the last 140 years (photo 7).
This one was repaired by our local jeweler with a rocker/chisel engraved 1854 seated US seated liberty quarter token to enable my wife or kids to be worn and displayed.
It is approx. 3/4 in. wide has an 1 1/8 in. opening and fits a 6 1/2 to 7 in. wrist with the weight of 25-g on our kitchen scales.
Some times you find a great old piece of jewelry which that would benefit from repair. Please see the other items we have listed.
