    An ornate silk foulard in red & black on olive, c. late 1950s/1960s. That which is well-made typically remains well-made no matter its age—this tie is one such example. It’s a perfect component of any Ivy League-style or midcentury-inspired wardrobe! 100% silk handblocked (blockprinted) in England, made by Reis of New Haven (RN 16239) and sold through the Alumni Shop of Rike’s Department Store (Rike-Kumler Co.) of Dayton, OH, which lasted from 1853 until 1982. Excellent vintage condition.
