    This medal is quite rare due to the limited time it was produced. The Manchurian Red Cross Society was established on October 1, 1938 by the puppet Manchurian Japanese government. The Manchurian Red Cross medal were official  awards that soldiers could wear on their uniforms, but these were made if far fewer numbers that the standard Red Cross medals making them quite rare among Japanese war medals.
