24 PICTURES IN DESCRIPTION; Pekuro German Hat Cap KONTROLLE Stirn Seiten Nacken Druckfrei 1890 I know nothing about this hat other than my Father acquired it and has been in family since. My father traveled Europe in 1957 met my mom there, so German is in the family. Cap could be from my mom’s family side as her father was in the German military. My thoughts are he acquired this in 1957 while touring Europe on his Harley Davidson with his buddy they had both bikes shipped over and they traveled Europe. Harleys were not common back then so he told me he drew crowd around their bikes whenever they park. The hat barley fits me and is very tight so I know it’s for a 25-30 year old. I have a motorcycle cap of his, which is the same size so I know it’s dated back to his late teen age years onward. Enough on the history! Cap is in excellent condition NO Holes or tears to Gray fabric, only thing I see is the underside of brim on tan area that meets the inside there is a slight separation of that material, on other side of it, the black brim part, it appears under the material like a crack. Brim has a smudge and paint loss to the edge. PEKURO is hole punched on inside material front by brim, Inside the cap is the makers info, I’ll let the pictures tell the rest of that info, Because it all in German. Pekuro German Hat Cap KONTROLLE Stirn Seiten Nacken Druckfrei 1890 I know nothing about this hat other than my Father acquired it and has been in family since.
