    Description

    In the “go find another”
category, this rare and minuscule Navajo ring must have been a prized possession of a Navajo infant at the turn of the twentieth century or so. Ingot silver with a bezel-set natural turquoise stone (probably Cerrillos), flanked by stamped appliqued half-moons.
In excellent vintage condition. Dimensions: smaller than my ring sizer can measure. Front to back 5/8”, weight 2 grams, which is chunky for the size. The shank clearly shows the marks of being hand wrought.  Truly a miniature version of the classic early Navajo turquoise ring. And you can wear it as a pendant on a fine chain!
I want to emphasize how small this is--it's incredibly miniature. Let me know if there's any other photo you need to judge scale.
A fascinating, rare example of Navajo infant jewelry of the early Southwest.
    Don’t miss it!
