NICE WWI+ British miniature group; WWI service, 'Palestine' GSM, Defence Medal!

Here's an interesting little 4-medal miniatures group: the "usual" two medals for
World War One battlefront service
, then a
General Service Medal
for late-1930s service in
Palestine
, then the WW2-era
Defence Medal
.
I suspect the Defence Medal was for service as a air-raid warden, firefighter, auxiliary police, or something like that (rather than still in the actual armed forces), since there's no 1939-45 War Medal here.
