    KIA Casualty Medal, CEF WW1 War Medal to Chandler, 86th / CMGC from Lincolnshire
    Named in impressed capitals to :
    175142 Pte. J. T. Chandler C.M.G. Bde.
    - Pte John Turnbull Chandler, Prior service - Welland Canal Force, 44th Lincoln and Welland Regiment, he joined the 86th Battalion and gave his occupation as a Farmer. He served in France with the 5th Canadian Field Gun Company of The Canadian Machine Gun Corps and was killed in action 3.7.1917 at the Lievin Sector and rests at the Bully Grenay Communal Cemetery, France.
    He was the only son of John William and Agnes Chandler, of Gedney Dyke, Holbeach, Lincolnshire, Native of Southea, nr. Wisbech.
