    Description

    This is a WWII Order of the Sacred Treasure 3rd Class Medal brought back from Japan in the early 1950's. One missing stone had been replaced with enamel paint (see picture). The white enamel rays are in near perfect condition.  A stick pin is attached to the back as seen in the picture.
    The Order of the Sacred Treasure is a badge of 20 white enameled rays representing sword blades, edged in gold or silver according to class, has a central frame of eight large and eight small ruby red stones, these surround a blue medallion holding an eight pointed silver star.
