Fluorescent "Zoned" Calcite, Willemite, Franklinite, Franklin, NJ

Description

A  cabinet sized  specimen of oddly fluorescent calcite on willemite. The calcite has a "zoned" appearance or more specifically, it appears that the edges are burnt. Whatever semantics you use to describe this, it's definitely an oddball. From the Franklin Mine, Franklin, NJ. Size: 4-1/4" x 3" x 2-1/2". Weight is 2 lbs. 4 oz. or 1022 grams. UV photos are under shortwave lamps.
