    Description

Presented is a fabulous Arthur Stone Associates sterling silver creamer or milk pitcher. This piece was made circa 1937-1957. When Arthur Stone sold the company in 1936 it continued under the name Stone Associates. Most of the old master silversmiths still remained and so did the quality. The pitcher is done in a simple, rounded form, with the marks of hand hammering faintly visible in the finish. The pitcher is a little larger than is typical for a creamer, and perhaps a little smaller than is typical for a milk pitcher, but of course it can be used for whatever serving purpose you like.
This piece is in excellent condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The underside of the piece is stamped 'sterling' and with the maker's mark for Arthur Stone Associates, used after 1937. There is also a capital H mark, the initial for the specific craftsman, in this case likely Arthur L. Hartwell.
This piece stands about 4 1/4 inches tall.
This piece weighs 308 grams or 10.9 regular ounces.
