Early Best Navajo Pin Hand Stamped, Applied Raindrops, Natural Greened Turquoise

This pin has been in my personal collection, came to me as a gallery acquisition. It appears to be an old Navajo pin from the early part of the century, from the 1920s or 1930's, although it could date mid-century. It is made of a hand cut plaque in a scalloped shape with nodular terminals, beautifully hand stamped, and it has applied raindrops along with a central rectangular natural piece of stunning greened turquoise which is plain bezel set.
The piece measures 2-3/4" wide x 1-1/4" high. The turquoise in the center measures about 9/16" wide and about 1/4" high.
It is usual that older pieces aren't signed or marked for silver content but it's at least coin and probably sterling silver.  The weight of the piece is 15.55grams. The locking pin mechanism works well. Condition is excellent vintage, wearable and collectible. This is a beautiful older pin which was probably made to be worn within the tribe, by both men and women and it is classic, elegant, very old. I wear it alone and also in a grouping. It's always stunning.

International buyers pay actual shipping cost if I’m shipping myself rather than using eBay’s Global Shipping service, and International buyers are responsible for any customs fees their own countries may apply. Please discuss changing shipping method prior to purchase. My shipping defaults to Express International, which is tracked and insured, but I can use Priority Mail International. It's less expensive and is also tracked. First Class International is no longer offered by the US Postal Service. I charge the actual shipping cost and since shipping to each country costs a different amount, I will charge a little extra and refund the exact difference once I can put your address in and print a shipping label. I am no longer shipping to Italy and China, but can make exceptions if you speak with me about it, especially if you are a prior customer.
Returns will be accepted for 30 days after your receipt for any reason and without question. Please let me know if you would like to return something. Returns must be in the same condition they were shipped. If I make a significant mistake in a listing I'll always give you a full refund. The 20% restocking fee does not apply when the mistake is mine. I care that you're happy and about my accuracy, and will always stand behind my work. My attributions are guaranteed for my lifetime.
