    Description

    This is one of two simular pieces of marked 1844 Danish Sterling silver I am listing at this time. Both are marked with the assay mark of three towers ( 836/1000) Danish sterling that dates them to 1844. Both have the PRH assay mastermark for Peter R Hinnerup  This is a large open sugar bowl. It measures 7" tall and 10 1/2" across the handles with the body 6 1/2" across and the Foot  3 3/4" across. It weight approx. 431 grams. Marked on the base LAD  13 Marts 1844 and the hallmarks  as shown in photos. The horse mark is unknown from my research. It has beautifully ornate handles on a ribbed body and foot. Condition is excellent with no dents or scratchs or repairs.
