British WWI M.B.E. miniature medals bar, ID'd to RN Commander. Very nice WWI MBE miniature medal group, period bar mounted, identified to 'Electrical Lt.Commander George W. Hows'. Bar has 1st type M.B.E. (silver), WWI Trio, and KGV Silver Jubilee. The three silver medals appear to be nice early sterling ones. Bar is nice older period mounting and shows only minor wear, nice mild tarnish to medals (not a lot of polishing or knocks), and ribbons are nice with bright colors. There are two of his officers calling cards, both named to him as 'Electrical Lieutenant Commander R.N.', one of him as being retired. He also appears to have been in the Admiralty Recruiting Department and also the D.E.E. Dept. He was from Portsmouth. Needs more research.
