    Awarded to G.F. Landsberg comprising 1939‑45 War Medal (327239 G.F Landsberg), 1939‑45 Africa Service Medal (327239 G.F. Landsberg), South African Medal For Korea, (P8690 G.F. Landsberg), United Nations Korea Medal, (P8690 G.F. Landsberg), Republic of Korea War Service Medal, unnamed as issued, mounted as worn.

    2nd "Cheetah" Squadron, S.A.A.F. were the only South African unit to receive the Korea Medal.

    Sjt. Porter was killed in action on 7th January 1916 in the Persian Gulf. He is commemorated on the Basra Memorial. Porter’s Medal Index Card shows that he also received a 1914 Star (location unknown).
