Description:
We recently acquired "Fantasy Rock" direct from a collector in Greenland. Featured on this specimen is tugtupite (SW- red), Chkalovite (SW- magenta,white,green), Sodalite (SW+LW- orange), Analcime (SW- blue,white). The sodalite/tugtupite areas of the rock are prominent in the fluorescence in this piece as you can see in the listing pictures. The other fluorescent minerals are not as noticeable upon first glance, but if you look closely you will see the magenta, white and green speckled throughout.
The lamp used to take this picture was a 15 Watt  shortwave UV lamp along with a Nikon D3300. In order to capture the various colors accurately we had to shoot in RAW image mode and use white balance. Fantasy Rock is tough to capture, but we feel the listings are very close to what we see in person.
