    Description

    The lettering style on the label of this tie, is causing mysteries.
    No patent # on the underside, or maker, so we're approximating a date.
    We "Believe" it is somewhere from around WWI -- 1910's to early 1920's.
    To add to the mystery-solving problem, there is no maker label and/or retail store label. Very uncommon for any ties from the 30's or 40's.
    If anyone can provide documentation to the contrary, we would appreciate it.
    Additionally, it not a silk/ pure silk. It is some cellulose, or cellulose-thermoplastic, or could be some combo of cellulose-thermoplastic / silk.
    Again, if anyone has advanced knowledge of this time-frame of FONT, it would be appreciated.
